Australian Drivers Corporation Pty Ltd

1. GENERAL

1.1 Parties

This Agreement applies to Australian Drivers Corporation Pty Ltd and all related bodies corporate (as defined in the Corporations Act 2001), including subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents.

1.2 Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with all policies and notices published on the Australian Drivers Corporation website, form the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations, whether oral or written.

1.3 No Reliance

No representations, warranties, or statements other than those expressly set out in this Agreement form part of the contract or may be relied upon in any court of law.

1.4 Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

1.5 Jurisdiction

The courts of New South Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over this Agreement.

1.6 Acceptance

All participants, including drivers, passengers, and spectators, agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions prior to attending or participating in any event.


2. ENTRY, CONDUCT & EVENT CONTROL

2.1 Right to Refuse Entry

Australian Drivers Corporation reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse entry or remove any participant or spectator on reasonable grounds.

2.2 Reasonable Grounds Include (but are not limited to):

  • Verbal or physical abuse of staff or participants
  • Failure to comply with Australian Drivers Corporation regulations
  • Failure to comply with venue regulations
  • Failure to comply with NSW legislation
  • Failure to comply with Common Law obligations

2.3 Event Changes

Australian Drivers Corporation reserves the right to cancel, postpone, shorten, or modify an event without prior notice and without refund or credit, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

2.4 Event Disruption Circumstances

Events may be cancelled, postponed, or curtailed due to:

  • Direction from the venue or facility management
  • Insufficient participant numbers
  • Severe or unsafe weather conditions
  • Unsafe track or surface conditions
  • Downtime caused by incidents or safety concerns

3. SCRUTINEERING

3.1 Mandatory Scrutineering

All vehicles must pass mandatory scrutineering and be approved by the Australian Drivers Corporation Chief Scrutineer before any on-track activity.

Failure to pass scrutineering will result in exclusion from track activities without refund.

3.2 Essential Safety Requirements

All vehicles must be in a condition acceptable for road use in NSW, including:

  • Brakes and brake lights
  • Headlights (and taillights for night events)
  • Secure battery mounting
  • Seat belts or approved harness
  • Windscreen wipers
  • Fuel systems isolated from driver compartment
  • Secure seating installed to safety standards
  • No fluid leaks
  • All wheel nuts present and tightened
  • Fire extinguisher (recommended, not compulsory)

4. TRACK PRESERVATION & DRIVING RULES

Drivers must comply with all on-track rules, including:

  • Remain on the race surface unless avoiding danger or mechanical failure
  • Follow track direction and pit lane procedures
  • No donuts, J-turns, or static traction breaking
  • No drifting in designated NO DRIFTING ZONES
  • No intentional off-track driving
  • No slick tyres on the rear
  • No exposed belts or delaminated tyres
  • No intentional contact with cones or barriers

Failure to comply may result in immediate removal from the event without refund and potential exclusion from future events.


5. CLOTHING & SAFETY GEAR

5.1 Drivers

Drivers must wear:

  • Non-flammable clothing (nylon prohibited)
  • Clothing covering neck to wrists and ankles
  • Enclosed footwear with socks
  • Approved helmet meeting one of the following standards:
    • FIA 8860-2010 / 8860-2004
    • AS1698
    • SFI 24.1
    • Snell SA2000 or newer

6. PRICING & PAYMENT

6.1 Pricing

  • All prices include GST
  • Prices are subject to change with 4 weeks’ notice

6.2 Driver, Passenger & Spectator Fees

Pricing varies by event. Please refer to individual event pages for details.

6.3 Licence

Participants without a valid motorsport licence must purchase one via the Australian Drivers Corporation website.

  • Annual Licence: Valid for 12 months, non-refundable
  • Day Licence: Valid for day of purchase only, non-transferable, non-refundable

6.4 Payment Methods

Payments may be made online or at the event (subject to availability) via:

  • EFTPOS / PayPass
  • Visa, Mastercard, AMEX
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay
  • Cash

No spots are reserved without full payment.


7. REFUND & CREDIT POLICY

7.1 Drivers

  • More than 14 days prior: 100% credit
  • 14–7 days prior: 70% credit
  • Less than 7 days: No refund or credit

Credits are valid for 12 months from date of issue.

7.2 Passengers & Spectators

No refunds or credits.

7.3 Event Cancellation

If an event is cancelled, ticket prices may be refunded where required by Australian Consumer Law.
Booking and transaction fees are non-refundable.


8. MISCELLANEOUS

8.1 Safety

Passenger trainees may be permitted at the discretion of the Clerk of Course and subject to driver skill assessment.

8.2 Track Time

Events are operated to maximise track time. Breaks may not be scheduled, and entries are capped.
